Why do I as a white college student feel like I am being discriminated against by the minority races at UT?

Okay, so everytime I walk through the lobby in Jester West all the Asians, Latinos, African-Americans, are handing out party invites and expo flyers. The only problem is that they target their race. I'm a friendly student and my stepmother and sisters are Asian, so I try to make friends with every race. What I notice is that when I walk by them they turn their head and act like they never seen me because I'm not their race! WTF! And when an Asian kid walks in front of me they hand him an invite, but right when I go by they suddenly even go as far as looking at their feet! Does anyone else get discriminated like this @ UT Austin?
