Artists feelings for love?

He is from a small town n a gifted artist.Hez come to mumbai to study at an art school.Art is the common thing between us.V became frnds,started meeting frequently.He loved to make my sketches.He sketched me even on his wall.I was d only only girl he evr was so close to.I knew he liked me too.One day when i met him at his place,he kissed me.But i was scared n ran away.He was broken aftr wht i did.But i did talk to him again.For him art is his life n i think i m distracting him..what do i do ?
