I'm thinking about getting a Pug(Please only answer if you own or have owned pugs)?

My sister is going to breed her pug, and i really want one of the puppies. My question is- I have read diffrent things from diffrent sites, and one site said that they are prone to haveing their brain inflamed, like a doberman, and a whole shlew of bad things. Do you think that goes for all pugs, or just inbreed ones? I am only asking because I know mites and other stuff is preventable, but not brain inflammation
