How can a more laid back/natural girl compete?

I am more of a natural girl. I Do wear makeup and dress up but my overall look especially makeup is more everyday/neutral than glamourous. For instance I am biracial so I have brown skin and like to wear different shades of brown and clothing that are colors like brown, orange, etc. My hair is naturally curly though I do straighten it sometimes. Right now it is cut similar to Halle Berry's short do. I have gotten lots of compliments on it. How can I compete or stand up against the more supermodel/glamour type girls....girls that are pretty but wear a lot more makeup, Always have long wavy hair, wear dresses that show off their legs/. I think I am pretty but it's more of a laid back, casual clic style than a supermodel/bombshell with big , tighter clothing, tons of makeup, fake nails etc. Btw I think this look is great for the most part, but it's not really Me or the style I prefer. I just feel that the bombshell girls who are put together are going to get the looks and attention and have the Wow she's so perfect factor
