Girls, i need some advice?

so i've been out with this girl twice. one was for a casual coffee and we really hit it off and she wanted to get together soon. some time lapsed (we went to our hometowns over the winter). we met for lunch and as it's only the second time we've met up, i was in no rush to overtly hint my interests. anyways, this second time she was wearing a ring on her ring finger on her right hand (it was very big and not one of those thin wedding ring ones). is that a sign of anything? does she have a boyfriend? i just don't want to waste my time.
